This is a great find and unique piece... with not many available to the public!
It truly is a piece of nautical history to treasure. The modern presentation card, offered for sale, shows on the front of it, a faux reduced copy on a $5.00 bill found in the Titanic wreckage (with present day artist Titanic cancels added to it... it is not a real bill and the cancels are not real!). BUT... Encapsulated within the presentation card and seen from the front is an authentic used circa 1912 stamp from the United Kingdom and a genuine piece of rusted metal from the actual Titanic. THE SMALL TITANIC RUSTED METAL PIECE(S) CAME FROM THE ACTUAL SHIP'S HULL a.k.a. "THE BIG PIECE". (THESE RUSTED METAL PIECE(S) ARE REALLY METAL... THEY CAN BE PICKED UP WITH A MAGNET.) THEY WERE COLLECTED WHEN THEY FELL OFF "THE BIG PIECE" WHILE IT WAS BEING TRANSPORTED TO ITS DISPLAY LOCATION AT THE TROPICANA HOTEL IN ATLANTIC CITY. “THE BIG PIECE” was raised by R.M.S. Titanic, Inc. on August 10, 1998 from the floor of the Atlantic Ocean. The back of the presentation card includes information about the items. A great item for desk or shelf display and a excellent teaching tool!
GREAT FOR FRAMING OR AS A TABLE TOP DISPLAY OR AS A CONVERSATION PIECE !!
Note: The actual Titanic piece and stamp the purchaser will receive will vary from what is shown in the pictures, since no two pieces will be exactly the same. The size and character of the rusted metal piece will be similar and the stamp's color, stated price and design will vary, but the subject matter will be the same.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE PURCHASER WITH THE ITEMS C.O.A.
