The National Road places shown on the cards are reminders of what once was and still is, thanks to preservation efforts. The twelve cards are as follows: Flatiron Building, Brownsville; A Travelers Rest Stop Cabin, Flatrock, Fayette County; S-Bridge, Washington County; Nemacolin Castle, Brownsville; The Watering Trough, Fayette County; Mount Washington Tavern, Farmington; Century Inn, Scenery Hill; Colley Tavern, Brier Hill; Petersburg Tollhouse, Addison, Somerset County; Historic National Road Sign; The Madonna of the Trail, Washington County; and Searight’s Tollhouse, Fayette County.
